Susanna Reid thrilled as co-star returns to Good Morning Britain in presenter shake-up

Good Morning Britain viewers were treated to an unexpected change in the presenting line-up on Wednesday's show.

The early part of the week typically sees Susanna Reid joined by Ed Balls or Richard Madeley, but this time, Martin Lewis, renowned for his financial advice, took centre stage.

Kicking off the show, Susanna warmly welcomed him: "Martin, it's wonderful to have you back in the studio!"

To which Martin, with a smile, quipped to his colleague: "It's wallet Wednesday."

Viewers tuned in to find the GMB favourite on hand for a significant segment, offering vital tips for handling the spiralling energy bills, reports the Mirror.

Susanna pointed out Martin's recent appearance, noting that since then, the energy price cap has soared by 10%.

In response, Martin acknowledged: "I wasn't quite sure we'd be doing this but there's a lot that's changed."

Faced with the question to switch or not in light of the price cap's 10% hike, their sessions with comparison sites ultimately led them to save a substantial amount on their energy expenses.
