SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh confirmed as venue for Ireland v France Euro 2025 qualifier

The Republic of Ireland's final UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifier against France on 16 July will take place at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, the FAI has confirmed.

Last month, the GAA's Central Council and management committee gave the green light for the fixture to be played at the venue, as the Aviva Stadium and Tallaght Stadium in Dublin are both expected to be unavailable.

Tha Aviva will be undergoing pitch renovations after summer concerts involving US singers Pink and Taylor Swift, while Shamrock Rovers could be using Tallaght Stadium, if the second leg of their Champions League first qualifying round tie is at home.

Ireland are currently bottom of League A Group 3 in Euro qualifying with zero points from four games but they do have the safety net of a play-off.

Before hosting France in Cork, Ireland will travel to Norwich City's Carrow Road where they face England in their penultimate Euro 2025 qualifier.

The meeting with France will be the second soccer game to take place at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, after the Liam Miller tribute match between Manchester United and Celtic-Ireland Legends teams, which was held in memory of the late Ireland international in September 2018.
