This week we had the end of an era with the retirement of the greatest quarterback of all time in Tom Brady. He was responsible for four of the last seven Super Bowl victories — three with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Patriots are from the AFC (American Football Conference), who have won six of the last nine Super Bowls and 12 of the 20 Super Bowls from when Brady won his first of seven titles in Super Bowl XXXV.

Today the Bengals represent the AFC, and the favourites the Rams represent the NFC (National Football Conference).

LA might need to grab the win for the NFC while they can, though — with the list of elite or on the rise AFC quarterbacks including Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs), Burrow, Justin Herbert (LA Chargers) and Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills), there are a lot of options for future NFL champion teams for the next few seasons.
