Sturm Graz vs Rangers LIVE score and goal updates from the Europa League clash

It's situated in what's known as the Green Heart of Austria - but tonight Rangers will be hoping Graz is all blue.

And at the foot of the alps, a victory could go a small way to helping Russell Martin climb what must feel like a huge mountain to win over his Ibrox doubters.

His Europa League task certainly got a whole lot steeper after Martin watched his 10 men go down to Belgian side at Ibrox in their league phase opener.

The Light Blues at least bounced back from that defeat to record their first Scottish Premiership victory under Martin, albeit they left it late before Max Aarons struck a winner at the death on Saturday.

Now they switch back to the continent and it's a huge game against last season's Austrian Bundesliga winners Sturm Graz.

Confidence is at least a bit higher on the back of three points at West Lothian but this will be a much tougher challenge.

RANGERS IN AUSTRIA

1964-65, EC R2: Rapid Vienna 0-2 RANGERS

Rangers won the first leg at Ibrox with a narrow 1-0 win and goals from Jim Forrest and Davie Wilson in the Prater Stadium eased them through, but the win came at a huge cost - Jim Baxter broke his leg with just 20 seconds of the game remaining after a challenge from Rapid player Walter Skocik.

2000-01, CL GS: Sturm Graz 2-0 RANGERS

Rangers had romped to a 5-0 win in Glasgow, but the return in the Group Stages was a different matter as debut keeper Jesper Christiansen conceded two goals from Sergei Yuran and Gilbert Prilasnig. Arthur Numan was shown a second yellow, having earlier been booked for entering the pitch without permission.

2018-19, EL GS: Rapid Vienna 1-0 RANGERS

Steve Gerrard's side needed a win in Austria
