Stunning 45ft Paddington Bear and marmalade ice cream at Cheshire farm

A giant straw sculpture of Paddington Bear has been created at one of Cheshire's most popular ice cream farms. The towering Paddington rises to 45ft and now stands in a field at Snugburys Ice Cream Farm near Nantwich.

The farm has become known for its hay bale sculptures, with popular figures in recent years including Peter Rabbit, a giant bee and a Dalek. Now everyone's favourite cuddly bear from Peru has been immortalised for the summer in giant form.

Bosses say its their biggest sculpture yet - unveiling it to the public on Friday. It has already been drawing in the crowds keen to get up close to the nation's favourite bear - who is wearing his trademark blue jacket, tipping his hat and carrying a suitcase.

It's described as an orange zest ice cream with a Seville orange curd ripple, all made in house at the farm.

The sculpture's arrival will also be helping to raise money for a good cause across the summer, with 10p from every ice cream cone sold going to the MPS charity this year.

Announcing the news of their new arrival, Snugburys' boss Kitty Hill described the creation of the huge monument a "real labour of love" having taken an epic 1500 hours to create from the entire team.

They said: "Found at Snugburys. We
