Stretch, move and make a real difference at Scotland’s biggest charity yoga event

This autumn, Beatson Cancer Charity is set to host Scotland’s biggest ever charity yoga session, aiming to bring together 3,000 people for an uplifting fundraising event.

Hosted at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow on September 13, Yellow Yogis will be led by renowned yoga teacher Finlay Wilson (aka “the kilted yogi”) and broadcaster Jenny Powell.

The session is designed to be inclusive and accessible to people of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis aged 16 and over.

The brainchild of Beatson Cancer Charity business ambassador Mike Smith, Yellow Yogis was designed to bring communities together and have a genuine impact on people’s lives.

He said: “I wanted to create something that could make a genuinely big difference, and the vision was simple: bring people together for one of the largest indoor yoga sessions in the UK.”

The Beatson is one of the busiest cancer centres in the UK with high clinical activity and patient numbers, supported
