Stone Cold Steve Austin in 'fantastic shape' for WWE WrestleMania

Stone Cold Steve Austin is believed to be in “incredible shape” ahead of his WWE WrestleMania showdown with Kevin Owens.

Steve Austin will be returning to WWE for a KO Show segment at WrestleMania 38 with Kevin Owens, WWE has confirmed.

While the segment is not expected to be a match, WWE is promoting that Austin will be getting more physical than he has been over the last 19 years.

There’s certainly some validity to those claims, as reports have indicated that Austin has gotten himself into ridiculously good shape.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Austin has gotten himself into ‘incredible shape’ for whatever he’s doing at WrestleMania 38.

Meltzer explains that he heard, through a mutual friend he has with Stone Cold, that the Hall of Famer has been working out and is in great condition for the show.

“He and I happen to have a mutual friend who just saw him and he told me he’s in fantastic shape. So I mean he might take his shirt off.”

As noted, there is some uncertainty as to exactly what Austin and Owens are going to be doing, but Meltzer explained that Stone Cold is training “very hard” for whatever is planned.

“There’s gonna be a fight. There’s gonna be a brawl, without a doubt. It’s not just gonna be just a kick in the gut and stunner. He’s training very hard so it’s gonna be more than that.”

WWE clearly has some big plans for the segment, whatever it ends up being, at least if a new report is to be believed.

Reports from reliable sources on Reddit have claimed that the plan for night one of WrestleMania is to close with the segment between Owens and Austin.
