Stoke City manager reveals Aston Villa winger's 'outstanding' statistic that Steven Gerrard will love
Stoke City boss Michael O'Neill says Aston Villa loanee Jaden Philogene-Bidace has "surprised himself" over his physical data after clocking up more than 12km in their clash against Huddersfield.
The winger is currently on loan at Stoke from Villa until the end of the season and has won excellent reviews since his arrival at the bet365 Stadium.
And O'Neill says the 20-year-old is proving he can do the hard yards that are demanded of a wide player, which will delight Villa head coach Steven Gerrard.
"I played wide myself, wide left was where I spent most of my career, so I do like players who will do that," he told StokeonTrentLive.
