Stevie McKenna adds another knock-out to unblemished professional career

Stevie McKenna maintained his unblemished professional record with another destructive knock-out victory over Facundo Alberto Rojas in Bournemouth.

Fighting on the undercard of the highly anticipated Chris Billam-Smith versus Isaac Chamberlain undercard, the Monaghan man wasted little time dispatching the tough Argentinian, who had not been stopped in his career, albeit with a record of six wins, five losses and a draw.

McKenna lived up to his 'Hitman' moniker as he started on the front foot, happy to trade and take some shots in order to let his own go, and continued his aggressive style of fighting into the second round.

Rojas hit the canvas early in the second stanza following a rapid-fire combination, a vicious right hook to the chin doing the real damage, and McKenna maintained the attack, taking the wind out of his opponent with another couple of devastating shots to the body.

The Argentinian appeared to beat the count - however, the referee waved off the contest with just seconds remaining before the bell.
