Steven Gerrard insists Aston Villa had "no issue" about him playing for a Liverpool legends team at the weekend as he made his return to Anfield.
The Villa boss lined up alongside a host of his old team-mates - including old pal Jamie Carragher - for the game at Anfield which Barcelona won 2-1.
The game was played in aid of the LFC Foundation and Gerrard drew plenty of his praise for his performance which saw him win and convert a penalty.
