Steve Bruce thought Kenneth Zohore was 'sensational' & wants West Brom reignition

Steve Bruce hopes to have Kenneth Zohore available to him at some stage in West Brom’s run-in as he pointed to a fresh start for the Dane at the club.

Zohore hasn’t played a Championship game since he appeared from the bench against Luton Town, this weekend’s opponents, at The Hawthorns back in August.

It’s understood that Bruce’s predecessor Valerien Ismael was left bemused by Zohore’s lack of an impact as Albion - 3-0 up at the time of his introduction - ended up clinging on 3-2 with little focal point at the front end of the pitch to relieve pressure in the later stages of the game.

Since, his only first-team involvement was for around an hour in a much changed Albion side’s 6-0 EFL Cup defeat to Arsenal back at the very start of the season, and in between injuries his only other source of game time has come in the form of under 23s football.

In the meantime, Bruce has wiped the slate clean and hopes to count on Zohore as a genuine first-team option again in the run-in.

“He is another one who has had a tough time with injury since he has been here,” Bruce reasoned. “He needs a run of consistency in the team to get him back to what we all know he is capable of.

“I saw him play a few years ago and he was sensational and I wasn’t surprised that West Brom
