Steve Bruce hints at 'new-look team' ahead of busy summer for West Brom

West Bromwich Albion were held to a lacklustre 0-0 draw with Coventry City on Saturday at The Hawthorns as they eventually saw their faint play-off hopes officially end.

Karlan Grant missed Albion's best opening of the first half after being played in behind by an inch-perfect Dara O'Shea through ball one-on-one with backup Coventry goalkeeper Ben Wilson. The 24-year-old attempted to nonchalantly lob the onrushing goalkeeper but got the connection all wrong and left the opposition stopper with a simple task to collect the loose ball.

Wilson was actually tested and forced into a first real save early in the second half when Matt Clarke connected on a corner but could only direct an effort at the Coventry 'keeper. The Albion defender proved a threat from corners after the break.

"We've still got to be professional in were last two games and maybe we'll look at the younger element, but there's still something in me, we want to finish the season respectfully and in a respectable position, but, make no doubt, there's a long summer ahead.
