Stephen Bradley in 'no rush' to sample pastures new

Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley says he still has ambitions to test himself in other leagues, but the immediate focus is winning more silverware with the Tallaght club.

The Hoops secured the three-in-a-row with two games to spare thanks to Derry City's inability to collect three points away to Sligo.

Bradley didn’t watch action unfold at the Showgrounds as he wanted a distraction and took in the UCD-Shelbourne encounter at the same time.

"Everyone in Tolka was telling me the score," he told RTÉ Sport.

"It was obviously a target at the start of the year, to retain the league get the three in a row. It’s an incredible achievement from the group considering what we’ve had to do this year with Europe and playing two, three games a week."

While the dust has barely settled on a 20th league title, Bradley has said attention will quickly turn to extending their domestic dominance.

"I think we have got to enjoy the next week and then plan for how we are going to do four, five. That has to be the aim. How we can improve in all aspects, on and off the pitch."

Asked if he might be tempted to leave the club given all their success, Bradley is adamant he is going nowhere.

Earlier in the season the 37-year-old turned down the opportunity to take over League One Lincoln City after holding talks with the club.

Reflecting on that time, the former Republic of Ireland underage player says it did give him food for thought.
