Stefanos Tsitsipas 'hungry for payback' over Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune

Stefanos Tsitsipas has claimed he wants to get "payback" on younger players after suffering a shock French Open fourth-round defeat to Holger Rune. The world No 4 has also suffered multiple losses to 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz this season and said he was now "hungry" to beat the teenagers.

Tsitsipas crashed out of the French Open in the round-of-16 after Rune dispatched him 7-5 3-6 6-3 6-4 on Monday. As well as his loss to Rune, the Greek star was also defeated by Alcaraz on the clay in Barcelona and earlier in the season in Miami, and he sent a warning to both young players. "I'm hungry to beat them too," he admitted. "Now that they have beat me I want pay back."

"Like, very emotional opponent, always seems like something's bothering him when he plays. Actually that's how I saw it. It's kind
