STAYC in 'we love Rangers' declaration as K Pop stars at least get the right Gers on Ibrox visit
K-Pop stars STAYC at least got the right Rangers this time as they greeted Govan punters outside Edmiston House.
The group went viral last month after a shirt gaffe caught the attention of Scottish Premiership and Major League Baseball fans alike when they made an appearance at the US grand Prix in Texas. The band rocked up declaring their love for the Lone Star State's baseball franchise, the Texas Rangers.
However, a fashion faux-pas meant their time on stage got more attention than it normally would have. It seems the costume designer didn't quite do their research properly, as instead of donning the white, red and blue of the Dallas team, STAYC were sporting 1966/97 Gers replica tops, much to the confusion of supporters on either side of the Atlantic, with the retro throwback sporting the McEwan's Lager sponsorship that was synonymous with the club throughout their dominant Nine-In-A-Row title romp.
But there's an opportunity in every cock up. And the Glasgow version quickly recognised that, arranging for the Korean act to visit Ibrox. Fans can meet and greet the singers, who were given a tour of the stadium and this season's Rangers shirts in order to update their wardrobes.
And they at least got the locals on side this time with a big shout of "we love Rangers!"
