Starfield: Official trailer shows explorable planets and more

Bethesda’s ambitious new role-playing game, Starfield, has revealed its official gameplay trailer, and wow!

Fans have eagerly anticipated this epic sci-fi game from Bethesda since 2018 now it’s on its way.

Developer, Todd Howard took the stage at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase to give the gaming community an idea of what to expect with a new Starfield gameplay trailer.

The anticipated game revealed flyable, customizable starships, 100 star systems, and over 1,000 different worlds to explore.

Now, that the first Starfield gameplay trailer has arrived, you can watch the fifteen minutes of new footage below.

A lengthy trailer introduced the game’s storyline as part of the presentation, which coincided with the Summer Games Fest and included other Xbox Game Studios projects.

Starfield was announced alongside The Elder Scrolls 6 in 2018, with an initial release date of November 11, 2022, however, the deadline was pushed back to the first half of 2023 in May.

As the game begins in the year 2330, the Starfield players are allied with Constellation, a group of explorers on a quest to find lost alien artefacts.

In the new gameplay trailer, we see the player land on a planet, observe alien lifeforms, and mine some resources from the rocky walls. In this scene, guns are used as well as grenades thrown and a space shotgun is used to eliminate the bandits.

After finding a new weapon, the player takes on more pirates outside, using a jetpack to launch across a gap and engage more enemies.

The action then shifts to New Atlantis, the capital city, where you meet a few non-player characters and have a brief conversation about mysterious artefacts and the
