Especially when he and his team go on the road to face a top-5-ranked team in Michigan. Franklin is 0-8 on the road against top-5 opponents. Penn State has also lost 15 straight on the road as an underdog vs. top-5 teams. But, this Penn State team is built different. The Nittany Lions are fifth in the Big Ten in rushing, which improved from 13th last year. They have two RBs who average more than 5 yards a carry in freshmen Nick Singleton (7.3) and Kaytron Allen (5.2).
