Dickenson was not at practice throughout the week, though Hanna reports there was an outside chance going into Friday the coach would be able to travel to the nation's capital for their Week 9 showdown.
Special teams coordinator Mark Kilam takes over as head coach Friday night with offensive play-calling coming as a collaborative effort. Team president John Hufnagel will also be on the sidelines providing coaching support.
Dickenson was on the sidelines for the Stamps' 35-28 Week 8 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday.
Calgary enters Week 9 at 4-2, good for third place in the Western Conference behind the undefeated Bombers and 5-1 BC Lions.
