Stacey Solomon says 'things have happened' as she's left 're-thinking things' amid shock announcement

Stacey Solomon has told fans that a 'few things have happened' with her family that led to her shock career announcement. The Loose Women star left her fans 'gutted' as she quit one of her huge jobs for the sake of her family life.

For several years, Stacey has been creating her own ranges with the Manchester-based fashion brand In The Style and her first collection was released back in 2021. But her next collection, to be released next week, will be her last.

Confirming the news earlier this wee, the 34-year-old shared a picture of herself modelling some pieces from the new collection in a mirror selfie before writing in a statement on her Instagram Story: "Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for @inthestyle."

Stacey continued: "I have loved every single second of being able to design and create clothing with the most incredible team and literally bring my dream to life. Throughout this year I've thought a lot about work/family balance and things that have need to be prioritised.

"So I've decided to say goodbye to In The Style an other things that so that I can I've more of myself back to my family. In The Style has been a dream come true and I'm so grateful to have had such an incredible opportunity. I'm so proud of everything we created and achieved from making garments out of off cut, using recycled materials, our sizing ranges and everything in between. It's been a huge learning insight for me and a part of my career I'll remember forever.
