St. Petersburg Ladies' Trophy: Date, time, seeds and everything to know
Ashleigh Barty secured her third Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in January and next up on the tennis calendar is the St.Peterburg Ladies’ Trophy in Russia.
While Barty herself will not be taking part in the competition, plenty of the world’s best players are set to compete with up to 500 ranking points available.
Here’s everything you need to know about the event:
The St. Petersburg Ladies’ Trophy is a professional women’s tennis tournament played on indoor hardcourts.
This will be the 13th edition of the event. From 2003 to 2015 it was part of the ITF Women’s Circuit, before being upgraded to a WTA Premier tournament in 2016.
Previous winners of the event have included the likes of Petra Kvitová, Jeļena Ostapenko and Kiki Bertens.
The tournament will offer prize money of $703,580 this year.
