St Johnstone vs Celtic LIVE score team news and build-up ahead of the Premiership clash

They might be getting whiplash from how quickly things are moving but it's back to Premiership action for Celtic with a trip to St Johnnstone.

Ange Postecoglou' s team have stuttered a bit recently after a flying start to their season. Performances haven't been quite as fluid and one win from five, whichever way you slice it, doesn't make for great reading.

And they travel to Peth to face a Saints team who have saved their best football for on the road this season - their September win over St Mirren was handsome, but it was the one and only home league game in which they've scored a goal.

Nonetheless they don't concede many on home turf either and will be a tough nut to crack for a Hoops team short on numbers.

Captain Callum McGregor will be a big miss. He picked up an injury in their defeat to Leipzig but his red card last weekend means he'd have missed out anyway.

Carl Starfelt remains sidelined while Cameron Carter-Vickers is still touch-and-go.
