SSE Airtricity fixtures: Shamrock Rovers host Derry City, Cork City take on Drogheda United
Shamrock Rovers will host Derry City in one of five games in the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division on Friday evening.
The Candystripes have managed just one win in their last 13 visits to Tallaght Stadium. Kick off is at 8pm.
Four games kick off at 7:45pm, with leaders Drogheda United away to Cork City, while Waterford host St Pat's at the RSC.
Blues boss Keith Long is expecting a Saints side with real attacking intent.
Speaking on Newstalk, Long said: "They'll always be expansive. They'll always want to play fast attacking football. They want to create overloads.
"They'll get crosses into the box, they'll get shots on target. They'll get bodies into the box. We have to be prepared for all that. They've got high-quality attacking players."
Elsewhere, Bohemians face Galway United and Shelbourne go to Sligo Rovers.
