SS Rajamouli's Latest 'Oscar' Worthy Collab Has A Great Opener Sword Fighting

Australia and Delhi Capitals (DC) batter David Warner's latest collaboration with Telugu director SS Rajamouli has taken the internet by storm. In an advertisement for Cred, an Indian fintech company, Warner can be seen donning a persona inspired from Rajamouli's mega blockbuster movie - Bahubali. The ad perfectly depicts Warner's love for Telugu movies, and his antics throughout the cameo made Rajamouli a frustrated figure. The ad was also shared by Warner on his official Instagram handle. In the ad, Warner can be seen recreating some hit scenes and also performed a few dance moves.

"See you at the Oscars?" Warner can be heard as saying to Rajamouli in one of the segments.

Warner's fascination for Telugu movies and culture began during his stint with the SunRisers Hyderabad in IPL.

He often shares videos and mashups of him dancing to a Telugu songs. Even his wife and daughters have also been part of his Instagram videos.

Warner played eight seasons for SRH between 2014 and 2021, captaining the franchise to their only title in 2016.

However, Warner had an ugly exit from SRH after his relationship with the management went south.

A season later, he was picked up by the Delhi Capitals, the franchise which he made his debut with in the IPL back when they were called the Delhi Daredevils.

Warner led DC in the absence of Rishabh Pant last season after the wicketkeeper-batter missed the season due to a life-threatening car accident.

However, Pant resumed his captaincy duty ahead of this season. While DC finished second to bottom last season, they are currently last in the 10-team table having won just one game from a possible five.

So far this season, Warner has scored 158 runs
