SA Rugby on Wednesday confirmed the Springboks' opponents for their home Tests in 2025.

Italy will be visiting these shores for the first time since 2013 when the Boks won 44-10 at Kings Park in Durban. The dates for the two Italy Tests are 5 and 12 July. The Azzurri have only faced the Boks in seven Tests on South African soil since their first visit in 1999 and they have lost all seven of those games.
The last time the two nations met, the Boks won 63-21 in Genoa in November 2022. Overall, the Boks have won 15 Tests against Italy, with their only loss being a 20-18 demise in Florence in November 2016.
Following the Italy matches, the Springboks will play one Test against Georgia. This aligns with World Rugby's initiative to give emerging nations exposure to top-tier teams. The Lelos last faced South Africa in Pretoria in 2021 when the Boks won 40-9 before the second Test was cancelled due to Covid.
