Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will today promise to tackle labour shortages and help people with the cost of living crisis as he delivers his first Spring Budget.
Mr Hunt is set to say his aim is to led the UK to "long term, sustainable, healthy growth".
The Chancellor is set to announce measures to tackle the cost of living crisis, including reforms to energy bills. He's also expected to announce changes to pensions and benefits.
He is set to say he will be "removing the obstacles that stop businesses investing" while "tackling the labour shortages that stop them recruiting" and also "breaking down the barriers that stop people working". he's also set to pledge to make Britain "a science and tech superpower" with plans for high-tech investment.
