"Sports Davos": Bukovel will host the largest festival in Europe "Bukovel Elite Sports Trophy"

On May 29-31, Bukovel will host the international multi-sports festival BEST (Bucovel Elite Sports Trophy), which will bring together top athletes, athletes, war veterans and amateurs. This was announced by one of the organizers of the festival, Serhiy Konyushok, president of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine.

"The BEST festival is a large-scale sports show. This is an abbreviation for Bukovel Elite Sports Trophy. Since 2022, our federation has been a co-founder and co-organizer of the large sports multi-sports festival in Europe, the Arnold Strongman Classic. But since 2025, it has ceased to exist. And so that the place is not empty, we have reached an understanding with our main partners, the Bukovel tourist complex. They have proposed to bring the largest sports festival in Europe to Ukraine. This year we are just starting, but this is already a very successful start. We have already registered about 3,000 participants, more than 15 sports disciplines," – said Serhiy Konyushok.

He noted that the festival should become a "Sports Davos" for Ukraine and contribute to future economic development.

"The highlight of the festival will be the world strongman competitions. We have already invited the American, British, Irish, Estonian national teams, as well as the Netherlands and Spain. That is why we call our festival "Sports Davos". Because Davos, first of all, is a brand. Our task is to make a popular brand not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe, so that everyone knows that the heart of Ukraine, the heart of the Carpathians beats not only with tourism, but also with sports.
