Fintech company, eTranzact, at the weekend, unveiled its maiden golf interest, e-Tranzact Classic, which will debut on the Professional Golfers Development Tour on April 27 at the Lakowe Lakes Golf Club, Lagos.

According to the outfit, eTranzact Golf Classic is a reaffirmation of its commitment to facilitating more business collaborations within Nigeria’s public and private sector.

The competition is a three-day professional and amateur golf tournament, which will see registered professional golfers from across Nigeria and other countries slugging it out for the fun and glory while gathering ranking points on the Professional Golfers Development Tour.

Speaking on the tournament in Lagos, e-Tranzact’s Managing Director, Niyi Toluwalope, said registration portal for the event, which opened on April 10, 2023, has already registered over 200 professionals and category one amateur golfers.

Toluwalope said that eTranzact has taken on the responsibility to create more avenues for productive business-to-business collaborations with golf as the most suitable tool for this.
