Sponsor commends stakeholders for supporting Mark D Ball Championship

The initiator and Chief Executive Officer of Mark D Ball Basketball Championships, Igoche Mark, has commended contributors to the success of the 10th edition of the championship, which was the first held in Abuja.

In a statement on behalf of the organisers of the 2022 Mark D Ball Basketball Championship, Mark said the success of this year’s championships, which featured 24 elite men’s teams and 16 women’s teams, testify to the fact that the new era of the nation’s domestic basketball, as enunciated by his pet project, the new face of Nigeria’s Basketball, is well underway and fully on course to achieving greatness.

Mark also pledged his loyalty to the development of basketball in Nigeria and promised to invest more resources and time to build a rancour-free NBBF, and promote unity among all stakeholders, sponsors and lovers of the game.
