Spanish police issue Jay Slater autopsy update after body found in Tenerife

Police in Tenerife have given an update following the discovery of a body in the search for Jay Slater. The 19-year-old from Lancashire had been missing for four weeks, from the morning of June 17.

This afternoon (July 15), they confirmed that a body had been found in the Masca area, at around 10am today. Although formal identification is yet to be completed, the Civil Guard believes it to be that of Jay.

A further statement suggested Jay had been found in a 'rough and inaccessible area' of Masca, but the force has not
