Soyuncu, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall - Leicester City contract lengths after three big deals confirmed

Leicester City have already made moves in securing the futures of three important players this year.

Ricardo Pereira, James Justin and Wesley Fofana have all signed long-term deals with the club over the last few weeks. Work is now ongoing over some other deals, with big decisions needed to be made over others.

Urgent action is not required with all, but planning is. For those whose deals expire this summer, City need to know if they will offer them fresh terms or whether they will let them leave, which may then affect transfer plans. For those whose deals expire in 2023, City must also decide if they are worth new contracts before they enter the final 12 months of their spells at the King Power Stadium.

Caglar Soyuncu has discussed his future at the club with the Turkish centre-back having just 18 months remaining on his current deal at the King Power Stadium. The defender has outlined his desire to stay in the Premier League.

If there are no indications that they are willing to sign a new deal, and they are a valuable asset, the club may have to think about selling them this summer, rather than keeping them around and losing them for nothing next year.
