Southern Counties East League round-up: Whitstable Town rescue 3-3 draw with Stansfeld, Larkfield extend unbeaten run, Hollands & Blair win for first time in 11 games, Rochester drop first points in Division 1

Bradley Schafer rescued a point in stoppage time for Premier Division leaders Whitstable against bottom side Stansfeld.

The Oystermen came from 2-0 and 3-1 down to salvage a draw but Whitstable still dropped points for the first time in seven league games.

Goals from Jack Calvert and Adam Wallis gave Stansfeld a two-goal first-half lead.

Malachai Belboda pulled one back on his Whitstable debut but Calvert’s second instantly restored Stansfeld’s two-goal advantage.

The drama was not over for the 671 crowd as Jake McIntyre came off the bench to make it 3-2 on 84 minutes before Schafer levelled in the third minute of added time.

In-form Larkfield & New Hythe closed Whitstable’s lead to two points with a 3-0 victory at Corinthian.

It’s now 10 league games without defeat for the Larks, who were set on their way by Matt Day’s 28th-minute opener.

Second-half goals from Tunde Aderonmu and Tyler Ibe wrapped up the points.

Louie Clarke’s hat-trick helped third-place Rusthall win 4-2 at home to Punjab United, Robbie Bissett completing their tally.

Bearsted were pegged back in a 1-1 draw with Fisher after taking a fifth-minute lead through Ashton Mitford.

The Bears had Luka Radojevic dismissed for two yellow cards minutes before Michael Sarpong’s 70th-minute equaliser. The hosts also finished with 10 men after Tyron Mbuenimo picked up two bookings.

New Hythe Town boss Darren Beale saw his team earn a 2-2 draw at Sutton Athletic.

Hythe were given a flying start thanks to a goal in the first minute by new player-assistant manager Roarie Deacon.

Oliver Farmer levelled for Sutton before Richie Kell made it 2-1 on 24 minutes, But Namory Kane equalised again for Sutton, with all the goals coming in the opening half-hour.
