A car has careered through a hospital entrance leaving a trail of destruction and sparking a heavy emergency services presence. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon, December 6, at the entrance to Wrexham Maelor Hospital in the north Wales city, NorthWalesLive reports.

Armed police have swooped on the Welsh village of Aberfan after what is being described by police as a "serious assault". One person has been taken to hospital following the incident and schools and community centres are currently locked down. There is a major emergency services presence and police are telling people to avoid the area.
There are severe delays on a major road in Cardiff after an accident. The A4232 eastbound at Butetown Tunnel, heading into the city, is closed, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix. One vehicle was involved and there is debris on the road , with congestion all the way to Culverhouse Cross.
There is queuing traffic on the M4 after two crashes. There incidents are separate from each other, with one on the westbound carriageway between Junction 43 A465 (Llandarcy) and Junction 44 A4230 Peniel Green Road (Llansamlet), and one on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 35 A473 (Pencoed, Bridgend) to Junction 34 A4119 (Miskin, Vale Of Glamorgan).
