Pecksgrey Group spearheads Elegbeta Sports Complex’s makeover

In a bid to revitalise sports infrastructure in Lagos State, and promote sustainable development, Pecksgrey Group has embarked on a comprehensive renovation of the Elegbeta Sports Complex.   The project, which includes the replacement of the Astro Turf, rehabilitation of the seating arena, and a general overhaul of the complex, according to the group, is aligned with its commitment to delivering eco-friendly solutions that benefit communities and protect the environment.   It said that the renovation, initiated after a handover from Gaslink Company, a subsidiary of Axxela, is aimed at providing a world-class sporting facility for athletes and the community.   Speaking on the project, Chief Executive Officer of Pecksgrey Group, Oluremi Olukoya, said the renovation would be completed within 90 days.    “In 60 days, we are done, 30 days for quality control checks. So, in 60 days replacement would have been concluded, and 30 days would be just for quality control checks and handing over. I’m sure in 60 to 90 days we’ll be done,” he said.   The sports enthusiast stressed that the project is executed in compliance with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) hence the firm’s concern with delivering resilient infrastructure and facilities.
