Source -- Saints land safety Justin Reid on 3-year, $31.5M deal - ESPN

Former Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid reached an agreement Tuesday with the New Orleans Saints on a three-year, $31.5 million deal, including $22.25 million fully guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Reid, 28, joined the Chiefs in 2022 as a free agent. A full-time starter in three seasons in Kansas City, he had 3 interceptions, 4 sacks and 265 sacks in 51 regular-season games. He also filled in on kickoff duties for the Chiefs in 2022 and '24, handling 16 kickoffs total.

Reid also had 1.5 sacks in 10 playoff games, winning two championships in Kansas City.
