Source - Lamar Jackson has realistic chance to play Week 6 - ESPN
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has a realistic chance to return for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jackson missed Baltimore's Week 5 victory over the Atlanta Falcons because of a sprained left ankle.
Sources told ESPN last week that Jackson, despite the injury, still had a slim chance to play against the Falcons. Ravens coach Jesse Minter also indicated last week that Jackson was working toward a quick return.
Jackson suffered the injury during Baltimore's Week 4 victory against the Tennessee Titans. The two-time NFL MVP did not play in the second half of that game and left the stadium in a walking boot.
With Jackson sidelined, Tyler «Snoop» Huntley rallied the Ravens to a 30-23 overtime victory Sunday night in Atlanta. Huntley threw the game-tying touchdown pass to Devontez Walker with 40 seconds remaining in regulation before scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime on a 1-yard run.
Huntley completed 24 of 32 passes against the Falcons for 201 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 20 yards on six carries.
With Jackson as their starting quarterback, the Ravens are 79-32 (.712), averaging 28.4 points per game. Without Jackson since the start of the 2019 season, Baltimore is 7-11.
