Sources - Bears trade for All-Pro DT Jeffery Simmons - ESPN

The Chicago Bears are acquiring All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Titans are receiving 2027 and 2028 first-round picks, plus a 2027 fourth-round pick from the Bears for Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round pick, the sources told Schefter.

Simmons, 29, signed a three-year, $105.8 million extension, with $100 million guaranteed, with the Titans in June. He is under contract through the 2030 season.

Simmons was a first-team All-Pro last season, when he posted a career-best 11 sacks. He has four sacks in seven games this season.

A four-time Pro Bowl selection, he has 46.5 sacks in eight NFL seasons.
