Sonny Taylor eyeing momentum after rediscovering 'buzz for boxing' with Tommy Coyle

Hull boxer Sonny Taylor says he has rediscovered his ‘buzz’ for the sport since linking up with new trainer Tommy Coyle. Taylor has been working with Coyle for over a month now, training alongside local prospect Connor Coghill as he prepares for his next fight.

“It clicked and I’ve got a really good stable-mate in Connor and he pushes me and if I need to put extra effort in he’s shouting at me, it’s a bit of competition. These past few weeks have been going well and I’ve got a buzz back for boxing again.”

Due to a shoulder injury and issues away from the ring, the 27-year-old hasn’t fought since knocking
