A Sky Sports News reporter appeared to quiz a former Everton player ahead of Liverpool's FA Cup victory on Saturday and without knowing who he was.
The incident happened on Wembley Way, just hours before the Reds defeated Chelsea to win the competition for the first time in 16 years. A penalty shootout was needed to separate the two teams, with Kostas Tsimikas scoring the winning spot kick.
The player in question is believed to be Peter Clarke. Although this hasn't been confirmed, the man interviewed by Sky Sports is a spitting image of the former Everton defender and fans on social media are convinced it's him.
Clarke, who is from the Merseyside town of Southport, came through the ranks at Goodison Park in the nineties and made 14 appearances for the Toffees before pursuing a long and successful career in the EFL. He's still playing professionally aged 40.
The defender remarkably played 50 games for League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers this season and has wracked up more than 900 professional appearances to date. He's played for 10 clubs in total - most notably Blackpool, Southend United and Huddersfield Town.
