Sky Sports man now hints Marsch could drop £3.6m-rated star in big Leeds decision

Pundit Paul Robinson has claimed that Mateusz Klich could be dropped from the Leeds starting XI on Monday night against Crystal Palace.

Leeds United are currently just five points above the drop zone with five games to play but have a brilliant chance to extend the gap on Monday night when they face Crystal Palace. Kalvin Phillips has not started a game for the Whites since December 5th but he has come off the bench in Leeds’ previous two fixtures.

Mateusz Klich and Robin Koch were the midfield duo against Watford when Jesse Marsch’s side impressively won 3-0, but with Phillips coming on after half an hour, the American may opt to start him on Monday night.

“I know they played well at Watford so I don’t think both Phillips and Forshaw will come back in.

“Forshaw’s been out so he’ll probably have to get his game-time off the bench. Phillips should come in alongside either Klich or Koch. It’ll probably be alongside Koch if Jesse Marsch is going to play that way again,” Robinson said.
