Six Nations 2025 France vs Wales: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time and line-ups

Rugby Union fans are gearing up for an exciting few weeks as the Six Nations kicks off its 2025 campaign tonight. The opening match is set to be full of excitement as tournament favourites France who are looking to prove their dominance with an early win, line up against wooden spoon holders Wales who are looking to bounce back from last year's meagre results.

The Welsh will be making the trip across The Channel as they head to Paris as the world watches on in the opening night clash. France has narrowly been given the crown of tournament favourites but is set for some competition with the Irish as the men in green aim for a historic triple title success having won the last two.

However, with the return of captain and star Antoine Dupont, who missed last year's tournament after playing in the Olympics, Les Bleus are hoping that the scrum half will be able to take them the whole way after last winning the event in 2022.

Wales are coming into the match on a much less optimistic note, after last year marked their worst year ever, losing a record 12 test matches in a row.

Warren Gatland has managed to keep his job managing the squad, for now, although after the team received the spoon for the first time since 2003, he will need a much more positive result this year to prove his doubters wrong.

France vs Wales is set to kick-off at 8.15pm GMT on Friday, January 31, 2025. The French will move back to the Stade de France in Paris after work last year caused them to tour around France.

On TV France vs Wales will be shown live on ITV1 with a S4C showing Welsh-language coverage. The programmes will begin at 7.30pm GMT, 45 minutes before the tournament kicks off.
