Six-mile queues on M6 after 'multi-vehicle' crash - live updates
The M6 has been partially closed this afternoon following a crash involving several vehicles in Cheshire.
There are reports of lengthy delays following the incident between junction 20 for the M56 and junction 21 for Warrington this evening. Emergency services, including police officers, have been called to the scene.
Two lanes on the northbound carriageway have been shut as a result of the incident.

North West Motorway Police tweeted: "Getting reports of a multi-vehicle collision on M6 Northbound junction 20 to 21. Police National Highways and other emergency services en route."
National Highways North-West tweeted: "2 lanes (of 4) are closed on the #M6 northbound in #Cheshire between J20 (#M56) and J21 (#Warrington) due to a multi-vehicle collision. Emergency services are on scene and recovery has been arranged. There's a 30 minute delay on approach with 6 miles of congestion."
