Lap of dishonour?
United's final home game of the season comes at an unusually early time - a consequence of the Chelsea fixture being brought forward 17 days - and it is customary for teams to embark on a lap of honour.
The last time United did that when the stadium was at capacity Paul Pogba was involved in a heated exchange with some supporters in the Stretford End. That was tame compared to the grief he got against Norwich 16 days ago.
Ander Herrera received a rousing send-off that day and United fans are dignified enough to thank departing players. Nemanja Matic has received appreciative ovations in the last two home games while Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard have made major contributions to United's cup wins post-Ferguson.

Farewells
Matic, Mata and Lingard are all out of contract in June and all due to leave. By the time you read this, Mata and Lingard might have formally announced their scheduled departure date.
Mata came on in five of the last seven matches and Lingard was due to be in the squad against Chelsea but had to withdraw due to personal family reasons. Ralf Rangnick suggested Edinson Cavani would be back on the bench, so don't expect him to be on the teamsheet. Lee Grant, starter of zero home matches, is also on his way in the summer.
Home truths
This will be the fourth consecutive season United have failed to record more than 10 wins at Old Trafford in the Premier League. So far, they have managed nine - the same amount as last season's misleading campaign.
