Sir Jim Ratcliffe still has two Gary Neville priorities to address after Manchester United arrival
Sir Jim Ratcliffe's arrival at Manchester United is now a formality after receiving the important green light from the Premier League on Tuesday followed by FA approval on Wednesday.
For Ratcliffe, it will be the beginning of a lifelong ambition to hold a decision-making role at his boyhood club. The weight of expectation on his shoulders is great considering the underperformance of the Reds in recent years.
In his joint statement with the Glazers during the festive period, Ratcliffe set out lofty ambitions for where he wanted to take United heading forward. The 71-year-old spoke of making the Reds a dominant force once more both domestically and in Europe which is an admirable goal.

To reach these heights though, Gary Neville outlined in December what Ratcliffe must do first. "I honestly think that there are a lot of things they will look at before the squad," Neville said, speaking on his Sky Sports podcast.
"They have to try and correct the playing side of things as quickly as possible, but there are some gaping holes in the club. There isn't a CEO. There isn't a sporting director. There isn't a capable head of recruitment.
"They are the top three jobs in a football club, outside of a manager. They are the top three jobs in a football club and then you have got a manager making the fourth, meaning that quartet is very, very strong and tight.
"If that quartet are very successful, then the team on the pitch will likely be successful. The first thing that will be sorted will be people because there is a lack of those major roles in Manchester United that are actually in existence at this moment in
