Simon 'Simple Simon' Colbran will fight against fellow TikTok content creator Ed Matthews on Saturday in what will be the first fight of its kind in the UK.

The pair have been engaged in 'beef' in recent months, with their press conference escalating into aggressive scenes after Matthews made a series of derogatory remarks directed towards Colbran's daughter Keeley. The 52-year-old content creator has said that the comments only serve to motivate him more for the fight.

He told the Mirror: "He tried to get to me without using my family and it didn’t work because I get called every name under the sun," the 52-year old football coach re . "He saw how close he was with my daughter Keeley and he knew it was going to get to me. As soon as you involve family it’s a different story. I’m going to stick up for my family all day long whatever happens."

Matthews has also accused Simon of using fellow influencer 'Cal The Dragon' to increase his fame on the platform. The fight comes off the back of huge success in the internet boxing genre, with Jake Paul and KSI both bringing massive publicity for their fights and the sport as a whole.

This fight takes place in the smaller Indigo Arena at the O2, which has a capacity of 4,600 and on the card are a host of fellow TikTok stars, including Chef Dave vs Aaron Hunt and Ginty vs Luke Bennett, although the co-headline fight between adult stars Elle Brook and Astrid Wett has been called off due to the latter's withdrawal.
