Simon Jordan rages at Rangers fan 'entitlement' as he insists pyro display should’ve seen FULL away end 'hoicked out'

Irked Simon Jordan has declared Rangers fans should have been KICKED OUT of the away end at Dens Park following the pyro display against Dundee.

Both sets of players were ordered to leave the pitch by ref Kevin Clancy just two minutes into the Scottish Premiership clash after flares were set off in the Bob Shankly Stand by the Rangers fans – which triggered the fire alarm. That meant that police had to step in, with the game put on hold for 18 minutes while the issues were assessed.

The display has been slammed by the SPFL and former Crystal Palace chairman Jordan reckons that there should have been action taken during the game. Jim White opened the discussion on talkSPORT, stating: "Rangers head up to Tayside: Dens Park, where the away end was lit up by flares and a huge amount of smoke. It set off fire alarms and there was chaos.

"Security were called, and two minutes into the game there was an 18 minute delay. I'm going to ask you this morning, are certain sections of the Old Firm support doing their best to embarrass themselves and their clubs?

Jordan responded: "That's an apt summary. It is very correct also to say certain sections rather than lump everybody in with it. There is a sense of entitlement among certain sections of fan bases; that they can, do say and act how they want and when they want. It is incumbent on the game to correct that or to balance it.

"Not to lose the value of supporters and what they add to a football game, because without them there is very little to be watching. We seen that during Covid, we seen the heartbeat of football missing during Covid.
