Silverstone added to 2023 MotoE calendar

A new manufacturer, eight round calendar and World Championship status marks a new era for the MotoE from 2023.

With Ducati taking over the reigns for next season, the FIM Enel MotoE World Championship expands to a 16-race competition in 2023.

Silverstone will make its debut in the series as the class extends to eight locations, with the high-speed circuit providing a new challenge for the electric field. 



After two pre-season tests, one at Jerez and the other in Barcelona, the season begins with the French Grand Prix at the iconic Le Mans before round two returns to the spectacular Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. Sachsenring and Assen complete the first half of the year ahead of the summer break while Silverstone kicks off the action for the second half.

Spielberg’s Red Bull Ring is followed by Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the penultimate round as the venue changes its slot on the calendar, before Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli rounds out the season in style once again, on the Riviera di Rimini.
