Silent Hill 2: Images of reported remake leak
Silent Hill 2 appears to be getting a remake and new images from the proposed game have leaked online, as per Video Games Chronicle.
The images that have been leaked are small and pretty poor quality, so the veracity of the screenshots is going to be difficult to authenticate.
Bloober Team are said to be working on the remake, having previously developed horror titles such as The Medium, Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, and Observer.
A Silent Hill 2 remake has not actually been confirmed but it has been longed for by fans for years.
The game actually released way back in 2001, and was published by Konami; it hit the PlayStation 2 console, and fans would love to see the game released on new systems.
And this may be the most important leak so far when it comes to an alleged confirmation.

VGC reports that the leak has come from noted insider Dusk Golem, and they claim to have further authenticated the leak with their own sources.
They are said to come from an “internal pitch demo”, and are not representative of what the game is going to look like if it ever comes to light.
Pitch demos are referred to as such because they are created before games are actually confirmed; giving publishers an idea of what they could expect if they were greenlit.
VGC claims that the game could well be a PlayStation exclusive on console, although it will also release on PC.
The images can be seen above.
Silent Hill 2 is one of the most influential horror games ever and is also one of the best received releases in the genre.
