'Sick to Death', 'Fully know what they're doing' - Celtic journalist furious as footage emerges

Journalist Ryan McGinley has slammed former Hoops boss Neil Lennon after a recent interview with PLZ Soccer, stating he is ‘sick to death’ of hearing the manager’s excuses.

Celtic have enjoyed an incredible return to form this season under new boss Ange Postecoglou as they look set to attain their 52nd Scottish Premier League title, currently sitting top of the table, six points ahead of bitter rivals Rangers who won the title last season.

Their form has come a long way after their abysmal 2020/21 season under Lennon, which saw them fall second to their aforementioned rivals, losing out on the SPL title by an incredible 25 points, with all hopes of coming back seemingly gone with Lennon at the wheel.

Since the interview, journalist McGinley took to social media and slammed the former manager for his excuses as well as the media for using it to ‘wind up’ the fans.

He stated on Twitter, “Sick to death of hearing Lennon’s excuses for last season’s capitulation, which he personally steered!

“Publications fully knowing what they’re doing by using him to wind up Celtic fans on social media.

“We’ve all moved on, can’t they?”
