Shota Arveladze confirms positive Hull City news ahead of Middlesbrough clash

Shota Arveladze was glad to announce that his Tigers side have no new fresh injury concerns ahead of this weekend’s visit to the Riverside, according to Leon Wobschall.

The only blemish on Hull’s team news is the absence of Randell Williams, who is out of the side through injury.

Williams missed the action last week in the team’s defeat to Huddersfield Town as well.

Hull will be looking to get back to winning ways having lost their last two previous games.

Arveladze’s side will also be without Tom Eaves as he serves his suspension following his dismissal in last week’s Friday night clash with the Terriers.

Middlesbrough will also be looking to bounce back following their midweek defeat to league leaders Fulham.

Chris Wilder’s side are hoping to earn a place in the play-offs come the end of the season.

But Hull’s away record in recent weeks hasn’t been as poor as their home form, so Arveladze will be hoping to prove difficult opponents when they visit the Riverside.

A win for Hull would see them move potentially 15 points clear of the relegation zone with five games to play if results elsewhere go in their favour, which would secure their place in next season’s Championship.

The two sides meet on April 9.

Hull have picked up nine points from their last five away games, which almost makes up for a quarter of the side’s total points haul for this season.

This includes wins against Birmingham City and Coventry City, and draws with other play-off hopefuls QPR and Sheffield United.

So it could be another case of Hull frustrating a top six contender this weekend.

Having an almost entirely fresh squad will certainly help Arveladze’s side in their pursuit of confirming their safety in this division for another campaign.
