Shoppers will 'never buy supermarket ice cubes again' since buying Amazon gadget that makes them without the need for a freezer

We're coming into those hot months when an ideal world would keep you stocked up with fresh ice cubes for basically every drink, whether it's an iced coffee mid-morning or a refreshing cup of something bubbly in the afternoon. However, not all of us have the freezer space (or a freezer at all) to churn out trays of ice cubes.

If you're tired of buying bad-value bags of ice from shops, you might want to check out this Palinth Ice Maker Machine on Amazon, where it's been reduced from £89.99 to £76.49 - with a voucher for Prime members giving you a further £10 off. That's a healthy discount that easily takes it to its lowest-ever price on Amazon.

This is a countertop machine that looks a little like an air fryer but instead can make heaps of ice cubes for you, with two sizes to pick from. It deposits these in a tray with a lid on top for you to easily access them when you need, and it can apparently make nine ice cubes in around six minutes flat.

That means that if you're caught short and need cubes quickly, it's a better bet than the majority of freezers would be anyway. You only have to do a quick search to find that other ice cube makers are often more expensive than Palinth's, too, like this chunky HOMCOM option for £149.99 at B&Q, or the Costway version for £79.95 (down from £109.95) at The Range, but with those you could be paying for a few more bells and whistles.
